I was putting off the DIY beeswax food wraps because I was worried about if it would be complicated and messy. Let me tell you, this project took less than hour and clean up wasn’t so bad! I took lots of pictures to walk you through the process.
If you’ve read my other post about my favorite bees wax food wraps, then you know I have a passion for keeping plastic wrap OUT of my home. Plastic wrap, used for wrapping foods and topping bowls in the refrigerator, is a non-recyclable, non-biodegradable harmful product that many people use in their kitchen. Plastic wrap contains BPA that is harmful to the health of anyone who consumes food wrapped in it. Especially if the food is warmed or hot, in which toxins can leak from the plastic and into the food.
