I decided to do a DIY organic beeswax lip balm. Why? I have an obsession with lip balm. Or chapstick. Or lip gloss…whatever you want to call it, I have to have it. I have one in my purse, one in my car, in my nightstand. I even keep one in my kitchen junk drawer. It just needs to be readily available to me at all times.
I recently switched to an organic lip balm that I love. The problem is, it’s pricey. That would be okay if I had ONE stick of it that I used until it was gone. But that’s not the case. I normally lose them about half way through the stick. Secondly, since I’m addicted, I have to keep several tubes of it stashed throughout my house and car. You can see how pricey this could become.
Recently I tackled a new DIY project. I decided to make my own beeswax food wraps. It was an awesome project, but I had lots of leftover beeswax! (The beeswax in my photos looks slightly different than this one, but I’ve used both and they both have a great smell and consistency.)
